In practice
The unicorn is a reversal entry where two zones agree. After a sweep, price breaks through an order block, turning it into a breaker, and the same move leaves a fair value gap that overlaps it.
Traders place the entry in the overlap, with the stop beyond the extreme of the sweep. Two separate reasons at one price make the zone narrower and the plan clearer.
What to watch for
The overlap is often small, so entries are missed by a few ticks. It still needs everything else in place: liquidity taken first, clear displacement and a sensible target.
