In practice
Confirmation trades a slightly worse price for better odds. Instead of buying the moment price touches support, a trader waits for proof that buyers are present: a strong close, a small shift in structure or a rejection wick.
What counts is decided in advance and written into the plan, so it stays the same from trade to trade.
What to watch for
Each extra condition delays the entry and widens the stop. Asking for too much means entering after most of the move is over, or never entering at all.
